Thomas Owen

Thomas Owen is the current Chief Information Security Officer at Grafana Labs. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Information Security & Risk at Snyk from May 2020 to October 2021. At Snyk, they were responsible for growing the InfoSec team from nothing to four mature Director-led teams. Thomas also achieved SOC2 and ISO 27001 and 27017 compliance and personally enabled over $30m new ARR including numerous Fortune 50 and 500 companies.

Thomas Owen studied for an MSc in Computing at Cardiff University before completing a BA in English Literature at the University of Exeter.

They work with Douglas Hanna - COO, Torkel Ödegaard - Chief Growth Officer & Co-Founder, and Archana Kesavan - Director, Product Marketing. Thomas Owen reports to Raj Dutt, CEO & Co-Founder. and Christopher Doyle - Security Assurance Manager reports to Thomas Owen.
