Patrick Triest is the co-founder and CTO of Chipper Cash, a digital money transfer service. Prior to Chipper Cash, Patrick was a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer at SocialCops, where they led a team in building a redesigned company website. Patrick also engineered IoT air-pollution sensors and developed a plug-and-play Android library for interfacing with external fingerprint scanning hardware.
Patrick began their career as a Student Data Scientist at DASIL: Data Analysis and Social Inquiry Lab, where they cleaned and combined multiple datasets to create a global district-level entity recognition engine.
Patrick Triest attended Grinnell College, where they received their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
