Ofer Shaked

Ofer Shaked is the current CTO at Earnin. Prior to their current position, Shaked served as VP Engineering - Data (Origami) at Intuit from June 2019 to January 2022. Origami was acquired to be the driving force for a cultural and operational shift in how Intuit approaches data going forward. Led integration of Origami's technology and team to form the core of Intuit's new data platform. Leveraging No-Code/Low-Code capabilities, large scale data streaming and processing, and automated data quality measurement approaches to help data owners across the company create, organize and maintain many petabytes of data.

Initiated a company-wide effort to structure, clean and organize our data in a modern “Data Map”, powering our AI platform and other business applications. Helped transform data from an afterthought to being 3 of the top goals for the company.

Prior to their time at Intuit, Shaked served as Head of Social Search/GM at Yahoo from August 2004 to February 2007. Ofer also served as Sr. Manager - Software Development Group at Tecnomatix Technologies Inc. from July 1997 to December 1999. Shaked began their career as CTO and Co-Founder at Origami Logic (Acquired by Intuit) from January 2012 to May 2019.

Ofer Shaked began their educational career by completing a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Computer Science from Tel Aviv University. Ofer then went on to complete an M.Sc. in Computer Science from the same school.
