Michael Koenig

Michael first joined the Tucows family in April 2022 as the Chief Revenue Officer of Wavelo before moving into Tucows' Chief Operating Officer role in October 2022. He brings nearly two decades of diversified experience building remote, high-performing, disruptive software and telecommunications companies, including almost a decade serving as COO.

In his early career, Michael helped build Automattic—the company responsible for creating dozens of beloved platforms, including WordPress and WooCommerce. He has also held Chief Operating Officer roles at Sweet and Time Doctor.
