Luis von Ahn

Luis von Ahn is the current CEO and founder of Duolingo, a language learning platform with over 300 million users. Luis is also the co-founder of reCAPTCHA, which was acquired by Google in 2009.

Luis von Ahn earned their PhD in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University. Luis also holds a BS in Mathematics from Duke University. In addition, they have a certification from Duolingo in Duolingo Portuguese Fluency: Intermediate (Estimated).
