Kent Evans

Kent has been involved with Start Proud for over 8 years. He is currently Corporate Secretary, working with the Board and the Executive Team to advise on governance. Prior to this, Kent led the Ottawa chapter of Start Proud as VP, National Capital Region and was also the Legal Events planner.

Kent is a lawyer by training, attending the University of Ottawa and articling at BLG. He is currently working at Sun Life, managing the company’s relationship with key regulators and advising senior leadership in their interactions with regulators.
