Douglas Hanna

Douglas Hanna is the current Chief Operating Officer at Grafana Labs. Douglas has held various executive positions at companies such as Zendesk, Help.com, and Endurance International Group. In 2010, they co-founded A Small Orange, a web hosting company, and served as its CEO until 2012.

Hanna has always been interested in technology and operations. Douglas was drawn to Zendesk because of its fast growth and the opportunity to work with the company's leadership team to ensure that its strategic goals were translated correctly across the company. During their time at Zendesk, they also helped fill in gaps where needed, including running the customer success organization while the leader was on parental leave/sabbatical.

Hanna's ultimate goal is to help companies grow and scale efficiently. Douglas believes that Grafana Labs is well-positioned to do just that, and they are excited to be a part of its journey.

Douglas Hanna completed a BA in Sociology from Duke University and also holds a Markets and Management (Business) Certificate from the same institution.

Alice Farrell - VP, People Ops, Simeon Yep - Director, Business Development, Plugins, and OEM, and Ximena Aliaguilla - Senior Customer Success Engineer report to Douglas Hanna. They work with Tyler Musa - Enterprise Account Executive, Archana Kesavan - Director, Product Marketing, and Thomas Owen - Chief Information Security Officer. Douglas Hanna reports to Raj Dutt, CEO & Co-Founder.
