Bob Meese

Bob Meese is the current Chief Business Officer at Duolingo. Prior to joining Duolingo, Meese spent 8 years at Google where they eventually became the Director, Global Head of Games BD for Google Play. Meese was responsible for helping drive explosive games revenue growth of >25x and led the org change to merge games teams from across Google into a single team within Play. In addition, Meese organized the team to enable category expertise in top grossing, AAA, and indie games and built a dedicated "torso" team to scale developer management, through tools and processes.

Bob Meese has an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BS in Economics and Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania.

They are on a team with Aparajita Singh Turton - VP, Head of Corporate Development, Strategy & Operations, Severin Hacker - Co-Founder & CTO, and Ryan Sims - VP, Design. and Rogelio Alvarez - VP, Business & GM, Duolingo English Test reports to Bob Meese.
