Alastair Warren

Alastair Warren has a long and varied work history in design. Alastair began their career in 2008 as a Designer at Design Initiative. In 2011, they became an Industrial Design Intern at BSH Bosch und Siemens Hausgeräte. In 2012, they were an Interaction Design Intern at both Ziba Design and IDEO. Alastair then became a Senior Interaction Designer at IDEO in 2014. In 2017, they became the Head of Design at Forward, where they are currently responsible for the Body Scanner, Smart Screen, and other groundbreaking care products. Additionally, Warren has also worked as a Freelance Web Designer + Developer since 2003.

Alastair Warren completed their MA in Advanced Product Design at Umeå University between 2010 and 2014. Prior to that, they earned their BDes (Hons 1st) in Industrial Design from Massey University between 2005 and 2008. In 2007, they also completed a BS in Industrial Design from San Jose State University.
